🌸 Easter Holiday Club – Two Weeks of Spring Fun!
Join us this Easter for two weeks bursting with creativity, action and springtime fun! From weaving Easter baskets, making colourful wreaths and creating egg carton crafts, to planting flowers, decorating biscuits and baking delicious crispy nest cakes, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Children can also look forward to our special highlight days, including the Wriggly Animal Roadshow, our exciting Easter Egg Hunt along the nature trail, and a relaxing Pamper & Yoga Day with face masks using natural ingredients and cucumbers, glitter nails, colourful hair braids, calming hand massages, relaxing music and fresh fruit smoothies.
Alongside all this, we’ll be welcoming visiting workshops including rugby, multi-sports, dance and LEGO club, giving children even more opportunities to stay active and try something new.
With plenty of outdoor play, continuous free play and hands-on activities that naturally draw children away from devices and into creative, active fun, it’s the perfect way to spend the Easter holidays.

EXTRA! Our clubs run alongside daily activities and free play, giving children even more ways to have fun. Joining in is always their choice!

Open to all children aged 4/5 to 11 years, our holiday clubs offer exciting, age-appropriate activities every day.*
*(Please note: Children must be of school age. We are unable to accommodate nursery-aged children. Children from all school settings are welcome.)
Our day at Holiday Club:
Arrival Times
7:45 a.m.
We are open and ready for play from 7:45am.
Breakfast Buffet
7:45 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
Children can help themselves to a range of breakfast options:
Self service cereal station, fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast.
Milk or water to drink.
Mid morning snack
Please bring extra snacks from home if you think your child will need another boost before lunch.
Activities and play
7:45 a.m. – 12:00pm
Children can take part in many structured activities. Get creative, build dens, play with friends, take part in sports. Luckily for us we are a permanent building so we have an array of equipment and activities on offer and on rotation as well as the seasonal planned activities such as create your own playdough!

Children sit down together to eat their packed lunch from home.

If you have booked the morning slot then we say goodbye and we hope to see you soon!
If you are arriving with us or staying for the full day then we begin our afternoon of continued play with many more activities.
Afternoon Snack Buffet:

A range of healthy snacks are on offer at our afternoon self service buffet. Children can make up their own wraps/bagels with various fillings and help themselves to crackers, rice cakes, fresh fruit, vegetable sticks and salad.
Goodbye:
18:00 pm

What to bring?

We provide a fresh, healthy breakfast and afternoon snacks, along with water, juice, and milk.
Please send a packed lunch and, if needed, a mid-morning snack.
Nut-free policy: To keep everyone safe, no nut products are allowed on site.
✅ Drinks Bottle
Please ensure your child brings a refillable drinks bottle each day.
✅ Weather-Appropriate Clothing
In colder months, bring warm coats, hats, and gloves.
In warmer weather, pack sun hats and sunscreen.
✅ Personal Items
No mobile phones or tablets, please.
Children may bring their own games or toys, but they are responsible for them.
Scooters are welcome, but helmets are required for safety.
About us
Elm Cottage
Established in 1989, Elm Cottage has proudly supported families with trusted, high-quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 11 years. We operate Ofsted-rated nurseries and out-of-school clubs across the Stockport area.
Our Didsbury Road Out of School Club and Holiday Club first opened in 1991 and continues to offer a welcoming, active, and supportive environment for children. Located within the school grounds, we have sole use of a large dining hall, crush hall, and access to the sports hall, outdoor playground, and spacious playing fields — giving children plenty of room to play, explore, and thrive.
Paediatric First Aid
At Elm Cottage, we believe every child deserves to be cared for by fully trained staff. That’s why every member of our team is trained and regularly updated in Paediatric First Aid — a standard we’ve upheld since we first opened in 1989.
We’re proud to partner with Millie’s Trust to keep our training current and comprehensive. We also extend this support to families by offering evening Paediatric First Aid workshops for parents and carers across our nursery settings.
